White Out! Recycling Foam (aka Styrofoam)

Clean foam foodservice containers
and some foam packaging materials await recycling.

(“Styrofoam” is a trademarked foam product of the Dow Chemical Company
and since I have no idea who made this stuff, “foam” it is!)

Today was the day,
I had to literally get the WHITE OUT in a WHITE OUT!!!
My previous foam drop-off facility closed down months ago,
and my foam was reproducing in a closet (I swear), taking over the entire space.
I had no idea where to recycle it,
until now…
I visited Tree Huggers
at 947 Wealthy, Grand Rapids.
Angela Topp who co- owns the store with her husband Dan,
took GREAT care of me and my foam!
Dart, a foodservice products manufacturer based out of the Lansing area,
will pick it up and will turn my foam into something spectacular.

*Foam must be stain-free.

(This store is fabulous!
Stay tuned for a more in-depth post in the future…)
