Getting your children involved in the kitchen not only teaches them about whole foods, it can make your job easier as well! Two ways our kids help on a weekly basis are; Stevie juices a bag of organic lemons and Teddy peels two heads of garlic. Both items are placed in glass containers and refrigerated until used.

Keeping freshly peeled garlic and fresh lemon juice stocked in your refrigerator will allow you to whip up recipes in a snap like hummus, pesto or even this cashew-based non-dairy ranch dressing. Cashew Ranch Dressing
(V/GF/R)

3/4 C Cashews, raw
1/3 C Lemon juice
2-4 Garlic cloves
Sea Salt to taste
Purified water to desired consistency
*1/8 C Sprouts optional

Place cashews, lemon juice, garlic and salt in blender and add water to the desired consistency. Serve with crudités. Enjoy!

Add purified water a little at a time,
until the desired consistency is achieved.
